Will didn’t know how Hannibal found space in the limited hours of the day to dedicate towards productivity on top of a full client-load, but he always made sure to prove his gratitude regardless. Will Lecter-Graham and Hannibal Lecter-Graham have been married for quite some time, but even so, everyday spent in each other's company still feels blissfully fresh. Mostly, Will loves his wife a lot, and Hannibal loves his husband just as much (if not more fiercely), and it seems that nothing could truly come between these lovebirds. Not the BSCHI, and certainly not the mundanity of a 9 to 5.

When Hannibal had initially suggested the idea, it had been years prior and nothing more than an absent minded thought in one of their therapy sessions; probably, another ploy to gauge Will’s experience with such things and his innocence regarding similar substances. Will had been honest with Hannibal when he’d replied that, no, he hadn’t tried weed, he was a cop before working for the FBI, remember? He wouldn’t have been able to pass any screenings for fieldwork otherwise. And to add to that point, even if he could have tried it numerous times throughout his life in other instances, he’d had no desire to in general.
Until now, apperently.

To say that Will Graham is still an unmated, childless omega at the age of thirty-eight is his own choice is true. It is not to say that it is his preference. Will wants a mate and a family just as much – perhaps even more – than the next omega. He’s simply never met that one person who fit the bill before. And then he walks into Jack Crawford’s office and meets Hannibal Lecter and well that, as they say in the business, is that.
Now all he needs to do is convince Hannibal of that. But well, this is Hannibal Lecter he is dealing with. It must be done a certain…flair. But that isn’t a problem for Will. Not at all.
After all, snakes may kill mongoose, but one must never forget this as well: mongoose hunt snakes too.

Summary
Hannibal needs a kitchen remodel, and his colleague and friend Alana knows just the guy to help him with his rundown new home. Enter Will Graham, carpenter and contractor extraordinaire, and devastating addition to Hannibal's daily life. When he starts running out of new projects to keep Will around, Hannibal fast realizes his infatuation is more than simple attraction - and that getting Will to agree to dinner is only the first hurdle.
Convinced that police work PTSD and an empathy disorder mean he's better off alone, Will doesn't let many people get close. Balancing his inconsistent mental health with his burgeoning affections for Hannibal seems an almost impossible task, but somewhere along the line he realizes that asking for help- much like falling in love- is easy with the right people.
