Summary
Ark Fans thought that Rowan and Jimmy were so in love with each other that they fed off each other’s happiness. Now that she knows them, Angel can see the small tells; there are moments when Rowan’s eyes check in with Jimmy, only relaxing when he sees that his friend is ok. He tenses when Jimmy is nervous. He speaks for Jimmy when his friend is too sad to make a sound.
When she rewatches their posts, she realizes that she didn’t pay enough attention to Lister. Technically Lister is impossible to ignore because he’s loud and crude and gorgeous. But he was always watching Jimmy too. Only his expression never faltered or wavered; in every frame, in every video he was watching Jimmy with utter fascination.
