Summary
In this AU, which is non-mafia related, we meet Toraki Hara (Tora for short) who was wrongfully accused of attempted murder in the second degree. He was sentenced to 25 years with the possibility of parole in 10. After serving 5, he was proven innocent and released.
We have Poppylan Wilkes who has moved to Narin City to become a teacher. She is interviewed at Ulaan Academy where her new roommate and quickly becoming friend, Erdene is an Art teacher.
When Tora and Poppy's paths finally cross, he finds her infuriating, judgmental, headstrong and even further deep down, hurting from life just like him. He meets his match in this 5 foot something woman as they learn more about each other and about themselves along the way. They fail at first to understand each other despite their similarities. They both learn that judging a book by its cover before reading the story will be a great lesson for them both.

Multi-chapter based on a request for a shared dinner at the River House with Tamlin, Lucien, and the Inner Circle. I love this prompt and idea--for me, it was really hard to picture Tamlin simply agreeing to this. So, I knew it had to be more than a one-shot. There's also a lot going on for everyone with this, and a really complicated history between all of the players at the courts. So I'm going to have fun getting into the depths on this!

Summary
Every court has their own Great Rite with unique, ancient traditions. The Night Court’s priestesses have played coy with Rhysand since he inherited the throne last year about what imbuing the land with his power really means; all they tell him is that he is meant to spend the night in the Night Court’s mines dripping in ceremonial jewels while everyone else gets to attend the orgy without him.
He doesn’t expect to find Feyre, a faerie made of crystal who leads him on a chase deeper and deeper into the mines as the Rite’s magic overcomes him.
