“Planning what?” questioned Jack, his confused expression being matched by the other remaining rookies, except maybe Gabi whose wheels you could see turning inside his brain.
“To get Liam to play for Isack, right?” Gabi interjected, turning to Kimi for conformation, which he got in form a nod as he opened his mouth to add his thought.
“I meant getting them together in general, but that works too. So, you in?”

“Shanice,” he left a dramatic pause, long enough for Liam to chuckle, “your mouth is moving a lot like a rat. Yapa rat-”
At that Isack snorted and bursted out laughing, unable to keep a straight face. Liam, of course, followed and as he looked at Lindsay behind the camera, he felt Isack fully lean on him. The pressure made on his arm was welcoming and the hand the other put on his elbow made the area feel warmer.
