Summary
How could he deserve to take solace in his touch when he’s the reason that he’s bleeding? That he’s hurt at all? But he can’t let go, can’t leave him here to die no matter how much his fingers twitch, nearly feeling as if they’re burning over his blood and the permeating heat of his skin. These hands will get Wolfwood killed, and they’re the same ones that are desperately trying to save him.
Vash carries him, and he walks forward, because it's the only thing he can do.
(Or, Vash doesn’t feel like he deserves to touch Wolfwood. He washes his skin raw over it.)

Summary
Five hundred years have passed since Million Knives was stopped. Meryl and Milly get an internship, Wolfwood and his brothers are running the orphanage despite a mysterious debt-collector claiming they owe him money, and Vash is trying to solve too many problems at once. Too bad when they finally cross paths again they think the only one who remembers their past lives is themselves. God forbid they talk to each other like normal people. [The Trigun gang have all been reincarnated but they think they're the only ones who remember, because I thought it would be funny okay?]
My original title for this story was: reincarnation au but they're all idiots.

Summary
She says, "I'm actually looking for someone. The captain of the Sand Steamer said that he'd heard a rumor that Vash the Stampede is on board. I understood him to have blonde hair and a red jacket…" She looks at Vash, who hastily climbs back into his chair. Wolfwood retakes his as well, though he does it as if it was his idea to stop fighting all along.
With profound earnestness, Vash answers, "I heard he's also incredibly handsome and dashing. But may I ask why you're looking for him?" (Across the table, Meryl rolls her eyes so hard that she nearly gives herself a hernia. She is truly stuck with the corniest man alive.)
"My name is Eleanor Forthright," the young woman explains, "and my stepfather's just been murdered."
There's another moment of staring and silence. Weakly, Vash says, "It wasn't me, I just got here."
Eleanor blinks, and then she presses her lips together. "No, sir, I'm not accusing you. I'm asking for your help to find out who did it."
