Summary
Something in the way she leans against the cushions, the light catching her hair, makes him wonder about that sense he's had, from the moment he saw her, that he knew her from somewhere. Not truly, more like she's someone he'd passed on the street, or had waited in the same lobby with. Perhaps they'd shared a transport once. Sat together...

Summary
He realises she'll read those chapters at some point. Perhaps, knowing he'd read them out loud, in the dark silence of the sickbay, think about what he must have said to her. Would it have mattered that the words weren't really his? People have been saying them, the same ones, for millennia. Someone, many many someones, are probably saying them right now, in myriads of languages. Not him, though.
And, perhaps, never them.

Summary
A growing collection of unconnected one-shots and missing scenes, some canon some not,
less than 500 words(this is a lie!), that I couldn’t develop into a full story, but sort of liked. I'll post them in chapter format, with the character name as the chapter heading, to make it easier to navigate and keep track of. Probably updated chaotically.Title from Rainer Maria Rilke: “I am the rest between two notes which are somehow always in discord.”

Summary
A remarkable "braided novel" of 8 stories and novellas which Macedon wrote in tandem with the equally remarkable Peg Robinson. Too sprawling (in the grand sense) in scale and reach to reduce to a mere synopsis; let us just say that this is Voyager unfettered and red in tooth and claw, such as Paramount with its nice tidy pander-to-the-demographics mentality could only dream of producing. Faith, community, alienation and belonging, honest conflict between Maquis and Starfleet, and the realities of life far from home and safety. These are just a few of the things Macedon and Peg handled with discretion and grace.
From Macedon: I recently learned that my friend of many years, Peg, passed away in her sleep September 3, 2024. If you were or are a fan of the Talking Stick series and Peg's fiction, please think softly on her and light some sage or tobacco in her memory for the wonderful stories she gave to us.
