Summary
This is an alternate version to my other fic called "The final Key." That fic was a deconstruction of myself through the lenses of the signalis cast and world. I learned much about myself, and even more about what I'm not. And while I wish nothing more than to continue it as it currently exists, I'm unable to. While I wish nothing more than to just "revitalise" everything and move forwards, I'm unable to. While I wish I was capable of just moving on with my life and leave everything behind for greener pastures, I'm unable to.
So now, dear viewer, we have this.
A new attempt at an old concept.
Another run.
Until the blood runs dry.

When the strategical location of an abandoned Lighthouse in eggman territory becomes too valuable to just pass up, Kit, Surge, Tangle and Whisper are deemed the most qualified to clear the place, make sure no potential bots strike alarm, and repurpose it.
Only that they won't find any bots in this place.
This rock holds nothing except dying grass, a house in disrepair and the looming knowledge that, what shines at the end of the horizon isn't a beacon of light
but of darkness.

Summary
When Ranma falls into Jusenkyo, he comes out with an unwilling passenger - a spirit named Ranko who claims that she's the ghost of the girl who drowned fifteen hundred years ago, and who won't stop acting like Ranma's meant to be a girl. They're a teenage boy and girl stuck together in the same body, and even though Ranma can hardly stand Ranko, it's not like he can get rid of her either. But before long a mutual understanding - and maybe something more - begins to unfold between them.
It isn't until Akane Tendo sweeps into their life that Ranko's illusion begins to crumble.
In which Ranma is a very dense egg, Ranko is a terrible liar, and Akane has no idea what's going on.
