Summary
When Izuku was little, he used to obsess over the idea of magic. He would constantly pretend he had magic, almost as often as he'd pretend to have a quirk. Then after the doctor's diagnosis, the world seemed like all the magic and wonder had been drained from it. Even now, in his last year of middle school, the old stories of fairies and magicians seemed so far away. Surely all the magic in the world, if there was any to begin with, was long gone by now. Or was it?
