Summary
Izuku was a normal quirkless kid that endured a shitty childhood thanks to the way his world worked, but one day, things got really worse. His life got messed up in more ways than one and his life as far as he knew it was officially over at the age of five.
Heavily experimented upon and messed up after years of torture and physical modification that had granted him his wish for a quirk in the worst way possible, Izuku Midoriya managed to escape that hell at the age of seven and was forced to live with the new reality that his life had after all those experiences that had changed him forever. But not all hope was lost for him, as his parents were still there for him and he was able to receive the proper therapy to deal with his issues thanks to the help of a certain hero who helped him to reunite with his parents after he escaped his captivity who was able to fully empathize with him because of their shared suffering.
His heart was tainted by hatred and rage, he wasn't that kind and selfless person that he was before his kidnapping, and he had no love for heroes anymore, but there was always hope for things to improve in the end despite all the damage that he had endured as he wasn't fully broken yet.

Through the years he was on the street, he became a vigilante that mainly saved kids. When Eraser found out the cat he’d been feeding was the missing kid they’d been looking for years ago, he took him in as his own. But years upon years of living on the street at such a young age, then being thrown back into society, isn’t easy.

We are working on your poem!” Mic explained, effortlessly navigating them through the small crowd toward a stand near the makeshift stage. “You gotta get the rhythm down! A poem is just words until it's delivered! You need a live audience, even a small one, to feel that passion we talked about! I told you, you’re afraid to speak from personal experience, so we're going to put you in a place where all you can do is speak from experience—the experience of sheer panic! It’s immersion therapy, listener, Plus Ultra style!”
