Summary
It is said that during the second great quarrel of King Jaehaerys and Alysanne that the king made many an attempt to force his wife to reconcile. The following edict is still active during the days of the reign of King Viserys the First, who was loathe to change any law enacted by his predecessor no matter how small. It would change the Dance of Dragons and the lives of those involved immeasurably.
Winter Edict of the King Jaehaerys the First in the year 89 AC :
The Queen, immediate family of the King, and Prince of Dragonstone should henceforth winter with the monarch in the Red Keep of King’s Landing in order to conserve resources of the crown and strengthen ties. When the white raven of the citadel is received the royal family is to return the palace at once and together they will remain until the white ravens are dispatched once more to signal the start of spring. So sayeth his majesty, King Jaehaerys the First of his name, King of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm.
OR
In which Rhaenyra and Laenor having a daughter changes the timeline. Sometimes for good, sometimes for ill, depending on which way you look at it....

Summary
Lady Arianwyn Targaryen of Runestone was not born of love. Nor passion. Nor even a sense of duty. She was seeded by her father, the Rogue Prince Daemon Targaryen, in an act of unbridled hatred, and born of her mother, the late Lady Rhea Royce, as a desperate grasp at revenge.
With her mother dead and father flown across the Narrow Sea with a new wife, the girl is taken in by her Aunt, Queen Alicent Hightower, to be raised among the little family she has left. There, she finds her cousin, Prince Aemond Targaryen.
As they grow, the two find themselves indelibly bonded. But the seeds of disaster and strife were laid long before they were born, and as tensions in the family rise, it seems as though life will not be the fairy tale they imagined in their youth.
Will they let themselves be pulled apart as the dragons dance?IMPORTANT NOTE: While he's not the villain of the show or book, Daemon is the villain of this story. We are seeing him through the perspectives of people he's hurt in various different ways. As such, he is not as morally gray as you may be used to. If you think this will upset you, don't read. Thank you!
