Summary
In the Battle of Shanxi during the First Contact War, Commander Shepard manages to broker a truce between her squad and a turian patrol led by Nihlus Kryik. After peace is made between the two species, Shepard is assigned to lead the security team for the human ambassador to the turian Hierarchy on Palaven. There, she encounters Nihlus again and they strike up an unlikely friendship. Over the next few weeks they grow closer, but any public bond between them has the potential to upset the delicate balance of diplomacy between their species.

“Wait! Isaac, don’t go— I…” she exclaims and grabs onto my sleeve, the sudden movement sends the blanket tumbling off her shoulders to reveal that she came outside in a night slip.
Good gods! Is she daft for coming outside practically naked? I look up at the sky, then off to the side to keep my focus off of her exposed skin, the same one that kept me tossed.
