Summary
Forscher is a vampire who has seen the same things happen and happen again no matter what he does so he gave up trying, and since he is 500 years old he thinks he already knows everything so nothing excites him anymore. He is apathetic, hopeless and doesn’t have any sense of morals. His commentary is usually sarcastic and reckless. He barely shows concern or any emotion at all, he acts like it’s all a game. I know a lot of you will see yourself in him, just like I did. This story is not really about a vampire, it’s actually about the loneliness and exclusion of the individual who is different, who is seen as a monster. Story's main goal is to teach us how nihilism and "The Truth" are so close yet so far apart from each other. The story... is about this “vampire” who is learning to feel again.
