Summary
Thorin stopped hearing his Heart-Song after the fall of Erebor. Due to his duties and responsibilities, he had not wanted to seek neither his Heart-Singer or his One. Unfortunately for him, the universe doesn't care and hands him both wrapped in one neat package on a silver plate. Except, in true Thorin Oakenshield style, he messes up.

Hobbit's bear a mark on their wrist as a reminder of the soul-call they had when they turned 33. With asphodels decorating his wrist, Bilbo decided to never go looking for his soul-mate. Unfortunately for him, his soul-mate not only found him, but Bilbo managed to acknowledge the soul-bond just in time for it to be rejected, viciously.
