  Summary

  Steve turned back to him and asked,

  “Have you ever written a poem about yourself? My English teacher said that authors always write about themselves.”

  “Not really,” Bucky said. “It feels unnatural writing about myself when I’m really no one special.” Steve exhaled softly.

  “Mr. Barnes,” he said, his voice a low rumble, “I beg to disagree.” Steve was still staring at him, a distant, unrecognizable glimmer in his eyes. Bucky swallowed thickly and brought his glass to his lips, draining the rest of its content in one gulp. It was barely 5 o'clock and he knew it was going to be an unforgettable night.
