Something curious happens: Ratio stalls. He averts his gaze as his cheeks dust over with pink.
He recovers quickly, however, coughing into his palm and resuming right where he left off. “It would be inane to exclude the potential of intimacy.”
Aventurine is stressed. The knowledgeable Dr. Ratio offers an expert, thorough, only slightly self-indulgent solution.

They spent hours playing card games, he balanced dice and chips between his fingers with a deftness she couldn’t hope to emulate. It was disconcerting, and, like the absolute coward she was, Vashara acted as if she hadn’t noticed a thing.)
They went back and forth like that for a few more minutes, but the conversation had fizzled out decently fast after that. Ratio had work to do and Kakavasha wanted to keep showing her around, but Vashara had walked away from it with a deep truth settling in her bones.
She, Vashara of Sigonia, hated Veritas Ratio with every part of her being.
Aventurine's sister is alive and is overjoyed to finally reunite with her brother after all these years. She's less thrilled about his choice in partners.

He knew their popularity had grown exponentially ever since Rad Blast, but he never thought they'd get to the point where people were making plushies of them. It was strange, seeing a little mini you in stuffed animal form. They had truly thought of everything, even down to the little mole beneath his eye, and the freckles that Akito had. Not only that but the creators hadn't seemed to cheap out on materials either, they seemed fairly good quality for the price they were asking for them.
Even if these plushies were just a quick cash grab, it was clear the artists had worked hard to make sure you got the most for your money. It was safe to say that Toya wanted one. The only issue was, they were blind boxes meaning that there was no way to guarantee he would get what he wanted. He had never been all to fond of blind boxes or gacha mechanics, sure, he loved claw machines, but those were far different from blind boxes in his eyes. Where as for claw machines, a level of skill went into securing the prize you wanted.
