Summary
The demon Barbatos leaned back and clasped his hands, studying the white side of the board. “FascNow, for the rules. Keep yourself alive. Try and catch my king,” he stopped for a second to show off Batman. “A piece gets captured, they die. Manage to keep a pawn alive long enough to reach the other end of the board, you can ascend them to a better piece. The board is Gotham. Are you ready to play?”
The Joker nodded. Barbatos gestured towards him. Snapped his fingers three times. The fires and alarms stopped. “White moves first. Your move.”
He looked at his board. At his pawns. He laughed a moment. Gotham’s best and darkest. All nothing but his playthings now. Maybe this could be fun, in a way. He squinted. Picked up Harv. looked over the piece in his hands.
“Pawn to E3.”
Or, the Joker gets caught up in a chess game with a demon and his fellow rogues are left to deal with the consequences. Will they survive? Will they escape? Will the Riddler be able to outsmart the game?

Summary
A Robin goes out for the first night by himself, but it's not his first time out by himself. Just his first one as a Robin without a Batman. Problem is, the Joker's here to play and Batman's still out of town. Can Lonnie Machin figure it out (mostly) by himself?
