Ratio presses one of the buttons, and the screen lights up. The numbers on it flash for a moment before settling at 0.200.
“In this area alone, the concentration of ambient memoria is 200 millisomni per square inch. Not enough to induce hallucinations, but we may have some interesting dreams while we’re here. And the citizens of Vara-II have been having such dreams likely their entire lives. The effects of nuclear radiation on memoria have not been studied, so I can’t say for sure what effects this has had on their societal development. But I doubt it’s helped them keep a level head.”
(During a negotiation on a planet with a history of IPC-enabled nuclear warfare, Aventurine and Ratio get stuck alone in an old fallout shelter-turned-museum after a bomb drops, with Aventurine severely injured. They've got the supplies to last until an IPC rescue ship can arrive, but the planet's already-unstable memoria has been stirred up, and they're periodically forced to relive the memories of the shelter's original inhabitants. And things didn't go well for the shelter's original inhabitants.)

Summary
Kakavasha opened the moka pot, damped the left-over coffee from last night inside the bottom chamber, then added the funnel and filled it with coffee powder. He closed the moka pot and put it on the stove, ready to start it, when a large hand stopped his from turning it on.
A warm, heavy weight fell over his back, slightly pushing Kakavasha against the stove.
“You’re going to give yourself palpitations, if you drink that abomination,” Ratio muttered, his breath teasing Kakavasha’s ear — standing close enough that his morning stubble tickled Kakavasha. It was as if Ratio was trying to beat his ‘Super Coffee’ in giving him heart problems first.

Where Spider-Man fails. Mourns. Then, after some years, he falls into an alternate dimension where Kaveh is alive. Exactly the same eyes, same hair, same voice, same attitude. Minus a scar on his temple.

“Let me rephrase then, my beloved advisor.” Prince Kakavasha turns in his seat to face him, giving him the cordial smile that he knows is well-practiced. “None of them are worthy of my love, for all that it is worth. To me, that is the ultimate goal of marriage. I fail to see the merit in a loveless union.”
“Then, that is where the problem lies.” Veritas is a weak man, and so his demeanor softens easily. “I am not aligned with the council, and I will not urge you to settle with someone you are unhappy with. However, I do believe that these meetings are essential to you eventually finding true love. Perhaps tomorrow shall be a start.”
“No. I already… have someone in my heart.” The prince averts his gaze, and there is a faraway look in his eyes as they swirl with unreadable emotion. “And I know for a fact that he will not be courting me.”
Or: Prince Kakavasha has yet to be betrothed to another. It’s up to his advisor Veritas to fix that.
