Springer felt his own eyebrow ridge rise, and something was rising along with it, in the back of his own throat. A mixture of grief, guilt, and something else.
“As you are? No. It's late. I suggest you head out without trying it in here. I’d hate to ban a good customer.” Springer turned around. His audial, however, was still focused on the two of them.
“Primus, you’re desperate,” Megatron hissed.

The frustration and despair in his chest was boiling over. Why. Why, not one good thing – didn’t he deserve one good feeling, after he’d seen so many of his friends die? After he had washed away their Energon from his own bloody hands?
After all, didn’t Megatron owe him? Was he not the reason he was in this state, even if it was indirectly. Megatron would have never apologized for it, would only shove the fusion cannon into his face, humming –
Optimus’ optics widened. The cannon. If it was charged – it hummed. -

Megatron bared his dentae and glared at Prime. "I'm prepared to take my mattress home, yes."
Prime's optics narrowed, and his battle-mask clicked shut. "You will not threaten the employees of this store, Megatron."

Mobei-Jun does not make an expression of understanding, but he’s watching Shang Qinghua very, very closely.

Happily, Kojiro seems to want to talk about it as little as he does.
Kaoru’s twenty-five. He’s a successful businessman. A tech genius. A talented artist. It would be monumentally stupid to be in love with a womanising idiot playboy whose biceps are bigger than his brain, and so Kaoru isn’t. (Spoiler: He is.)
