Summary
After the sudden deaths of his sisters, Josh begins to crack. Deciding that fear is the best way to meet his goals, he begins to prepare a reunion his friends won't soon forget. Some of it, he supposes, is revenge. But there are also the things he's desperate to prove—and the fact that Hannah never really left.
Meanwhile Chris Hartley and Sam Giddings are recovering from the loss of two of their closest friends. When Josh invites the group back to the Washington Lodge for a reunion, they discover that this case may not be entirely closed. There’s a Psycho loose on the premise, and he’s not done with the group yet. When he vowed to destroy the Washingtons, he meant the two people dearest to them as well.
(A version of Until Dawn that focuses on the Psycho Arc and uses real ghosts)

Summary
Josh could not have avoided or predicted the curse. He should have been doomed to host the wendigo. But the wendigo could not have predicted Josh either. Summary
A disgraced doctor. A mysterious wound. A search for a missing person. All these threads intersect in Glore Valley. In the years following the second Blackwood tragedy, Sam and Hill have spent their time researching curses such as the one on Sam's forearm. Their work leads them to strange tales of Glore Valley, where they might be able to provide closure for themselves, Josh, and Chris. Meanwhile, Clover and company also make their own way to Glore, drawn to the valley's paranormal secrets for their own reasons.

I feel like the movie had potential, but I want to connect some weirdly loose pieces. This story is an idea I had to see if I could tie together three things. I want to a) use the version of Hill more implied by his texts and the Psychiatric report, a good guy whose evil version was entirely in Josh's head, b) explore what's going on with Sam's arm in the remake epilogue, c) tie in the movie cast in a way that flows well.
