Wei Ying has finally felt like he's gotten his life together by the time he's a senior in college. He can mostly support himself on his own and he should have multiple job opprotunites by the time he graduates by the end of the year. All it takes though is one druken fling with his childhood crush to throw all of that into dissary. He's used to life throwing curveballs at him though, so it shouldn't be too hard right? After all he just has to finish school, possibly raise a baby on his own with minimal to no help from anyone, get a job other than part-time bartending and make sure that said childhood crush, who is also his best friend and roommate never finds out about it. Easy right?

However an unexpected new roommate, fellow camp counselor Lan Wangji, is added to their cabin by surprise, and his presence changes Wei Wuxian's grand summer plans. He is determined to befriend the cold, serious Lan Wangji and indoctrinate him into his summer fun. And despite his resistance, Wei Wuxian just can't seem to leave the guy alone.

It felt more intense the closer they were to him. That’s how they ended up here, in Insomnia once again to find their missing piece.
