Summary
Human Au. Vincent travels to New Orleans for a report on the violent acts of the mysterious serial killer that seemed to have persisted since the 1930’s – he did not really care for the UFO or big foot rumours, but it made excellent tv.
If not only to make fun of others so readily willing to make fools of themselves on national tv.
After hours of unedited brain rot about how the serial killer is the zombie created by a disgraced disciple of Marie Laveau had left him in an art deco fancy-pants bar that really was not this Virginian man’s scene at the hotel he was staying at.
But the man nursing a glass of whiskey and hair the colour of shiny chestnuts in the quiet bars perks the visitor’s attention.
This chance meeting however sends the ambitious and respected reporter down a destructive spiral with lust, love, obsession, dark magic, and certainly more murder.Bookmarked by DreamWalker

Pre-canon. Due to an unfortunate series of events, Alastor Hartfelt is forced to collaborate on a show with a strange newscaster by the name of 'Vincent.' However, Vincent is just like every monster that Alastor has ever killed.
And as for Vincent? Why, he sees a pretty young thing trying to steal the spotlight from him, and decides that Alastor will be his greatest news segment yet.

The sigil lit up.
It worked! Alastor did not actually expect it this time too. It had been many futile attempts, and this newest copy of the summoning guide he managed to acquire after great lengths was damaged. There had been a few diagrams and sentences he had to fill in with some logical guesswork of his own. Now, according to the book, he should start hearing a voice emitting from the radio--
