As if Jaeyi’s been listening in, Seulgi’s phone glows alight with a notification.
It's an Instagram story, from Jaeyi. A simple picture of her bedroom wall with a song in the background. There's no caption, no emoji, not even song lyrics to describe her mood, but there are only two people in the world who understand the significance of a Lucid Fall song, and one of them is dead.
Seulgi hurriedly excuses herself for the rest of the day, even the teachers are looking at her like her own family died, and sprints to the nearest bus station.
She won't keep Jaeyi waiting. Never again.

Summary
The dragon has three heads.
Daenerys had been taught about dragons, about her family history and the great beasts they rode. About their thick hides and near impenetrable scales. About their horned heads and fanged maws that can spit fire at a moments notice. About their leathery wings which sounded like the roar of thunder with each beat.
She had never been taught about them having multiple heads. The three headed crimson dragon of her House's flag was to represent Aegon and his sister-wives, of the three dragons they used to bend the Seven Kingdoms to their knees. It was figurative.
But this one she cradled to her breast had three heads at the end of its sinuous serpentine necks. The crown of each head was dotted with small, barely-there horns with more along the length of the spine. There were also two tails, the barbed tips curling around her forearm like a babe clinging to its mother's finger. Its scales shone like gold, glittering through the ash coating its body.

Summary
Dragons are fire-made flesh.
Rhaenyra knew her claim to the Iron Throne would be challenged, but not that it would lead to war. Nor did she expect the land to be ravaged and lose everyone she loved. When her half-brother feeds her to his dragon, she is ready to die; the pain in her heart is gone. But the Gods of Valyria offer Rhaenyra a choice: she can choose between living in eternal happiness or returning to the mortal realm for a second chance.
The former means leaving the world at a tyrants' mercy and allowing the icy evil from the North to sweep over the land.
The latter means preventing dragons' extinction and restoring House Targaryen.
Rhaenyra knows her duty and chooses the second option but her mind is full of doubt. Can she do it? Can she stop the horrible civil war almost destroying her House and the Kingdom? Or is her death written in the pages of fate?
