Summary

Summary
Ford winced from the pounding pain on the back of his head. Along with the loud ringing in his ears. He really should have expected this, the fall out of being put as a show for Bill and his partygoers. No, he didn't have time to think about that. He had more important things to focus on.
Which reminded him. His eyes lingered over to where Mabel and Dipper sat on Stans's lap. He was surprised the rickety old armchair they were sitting on had not fallen apart. He remembered finding that chair at a sale for five bucks.
He watched Dipper and Mabel who were pointing at several pictures in the scrapbook, then telling the story behind them with vigorous motions. Stan almost got hit a couple of times but he didn't seem to mind, in fact, he had a fond smile on his face. The handyman (Soos?) was behind the chair grinning ear to ear and adding little facts the twins had left out, whether on accident or purpose. The girl to the side of him (Wendy?) had a smirk on her face when the twins pulled her into answering questions.

Ford has some issues and needs to heal. His family is there to support him and show him life doesn’t just have to be surviving.

He couldn’t explain the visceral feeling of dread, given there was absolutely no indication of Loki being hurt badly. Ignoring the fact that any harm that may have befallen him was less than acceptable, his reaction seemed unfounded, and he attempted calmness so as to not make a fool of himself.
Yet as soon as Mobius darted into treatment room five and laid eyes on Loki, he knew immediately that the ominous vibes were right on the money.
Loki returns from a solo mission, traumatised and in need of some emotional TLC, as only Mobius can provide.

“Are you just going to stand there all day, or are you going to join me?” Mobius asked, his gaze fixed on Loki as he started walking, the same steady warmth in his eyes that made Loki’s chest tighten again.
Loki’s mouth curved into a familiar smirk, though it didn’t reach his eyes as he glanced up at Mobius. “And where exactly are you planning on going, Mobius? What’s out there in the middle of this... wilderness that I need to follow you to?”
Mobius grinned, taking another step forward, the sunlight filtering through the trees catching his face in a soft glow. “I don’t know, maybe I’m hoping you’ll come find out.”
