Summary
A story about a bunch of orphans, and the chance encounters that begin to draw them all together.
Aether has just finished his graduate program in Early Childhood Development, and moves out of the dorms to live all on his own for the first time! The only apartment he can afford on his part-time salary turns out to be less than ideal, but an unheard-of winter storm and a chance encounter involving his mysterious next-door neighbor changes everything.
Diluc is being pressured by the board of directors to get married, but unresolved feelings for his adopted brother are simmering beneath the surface.
Childe escaped Russia with his brothers and sister, to start a new life in Japan. When a very dangerous man takes an interest in him, the past threatens to catch up with them.
NOTE: The Xiao/Aether relationship is a direct homage to an amazing manga called Tonari No Metaller-san, which is lovely and sweet and hilarious (and also very short)! Read it and support the author!!
NOTE 2: This story is set in modern Japan, hence the futons and edible konbini food and reliable public transportation.
