The redhead, Chuuya, was the complete opposite of Dazai in every way. He was a passionate political activist, and also proudly gay. Having grown up in a conservative household, Dazai had only ever been taught how wrong that was. The more time he spent with Chuuya though, the more he questioned how something would be so ‘wrong’ when it felt so right.
Chuuya made Dazai feel truly alive for the first time, but he also made Dazai question things about his sexuality. In a time where the government were pushing an anti-gay agenda, it wasn’t easy for him to come to terms with this. The pair are different in every way but was the thread that joined them strong enough to survive in this tricky social climate?

A miscalculation that started the night before when he forgot to set an alarm, his mind otherwise occupied, and which escalated the moment the prosecution called one of their key witnesses to the stand. A detective who was at the scene during the murder; a detective whose presence made Chuuya realize that he messed up. Oh, he fucked up big time.
