Soap and Ghost knew each other way before the 141 was created. but after Roba, they were separated. now that they're together again, Ghost doesn't know how to tell him it's him.
---Sergeant Riley had to look over the new recruits for today. A couple of soldiers were picked to join the task force hes in. he wasn’t interested in seeing the new meat, but his Captain obligated him to be there....
John wasn’t like the other recruits; he wasn’t stuck up like the others. He didn’t try to act professional, nor like he was trying to act like the toughest guy there. He was quiet the first few days, mostly stayed out of Simon’s way, reporting only when needed. He didn’t mind John being there, there was mostly silence unless talking was needed. And he didn’t act like a damn tree, at times he would kick around rocks or pick up sticks he found, carrying them around until he found a nicer one or when the shift was over.

The new guy in the 141, Soap, doesn't have a filter when it comes to flirting. Ghost has no idea how to cope with that. He can't afford to lose face in front of his peers, so he decides to just... play along.
The problem is, they keep getting closer, so Soap decides they must be dating. In fact, it is so obvious, everyone agrees- everyone but oblivious Ghost.
He is just happy to make a friend, to finally be able to share his past with someone, until he slowly realizes his feelings are growing into much more than friendship.Series
