And he thought about it for a second — genuinely thought about it. Tried to ignore all the traumatizing images flashing before his eyes at all the things he’s done with the life he lived under the emperors prying eyes.
So much blood and fear swirled into one grotesque sight as the screams echoed in his head. Oh god the screams — it was all so loud that day that the moments of silence falling shortly after the incident was almost deafening.

Stuart purposely took a couple of seconds to stare aimlessly in the cabinet. Gave himself a couple seconds to pretend to be thinking this through. (Because he wasn’t that obsessed, he could wait 7 seconds before giving in.)
He picked up the first bottle pretending to read it, pretending to care what was in it before reaching a trembling desperate finger up to unscrew the lid.
And that's when a gentle more feminine hand put a strong hold on his cold ones.
“Dee what are you doing?” Her voice was firm, she seemed so grown up and in charge in that instant. And 2-D felt so nasty coming up with a lie for her.
“I have a migraine Noods.” And technically it wasn't a lie. His head ached in an unbearable way, and even if he cared to read the instructions on whatever bottle he grabbed, the words muddled together in a blurry nauseous blend of writing.
“Then take something that will actually help it.” Noodle said taking the bottle away. "This is cranberry extract for UTIs."

2D is hopelessly addicted to his painkillers, and he gaslights himself this entire time that he isn't obsessed with the far too familiar white capsules that are ruining his life.
