It all seemed to happen in slow motion.
The person turned back towards them and Harry’s breath caught in his throat as he was met with the bluest eyes he had ever seen. No, not just blue, otherworldly blue. He was certain he'd never encountered this particular shade of blue in his life.
He felt James nudge him, but it didn’t matter, he was lost, hypnotized, completely under the spell of those eyes. He could hear someone screaming faintly, but for the life of him, he couldn’t move.
It wasn’t until several voices registered and James slapped him on the back of the head that he snapped back to reality.
Prompt 3499: The Daylight music video with James Corden fic but Harry ends up at the apartment of (non famous) Louis and friends. Harry is enamoured when he finds out this gorgeous guy has a (not so small) Harry merch obsession. Louis (when he get over his nerves) falls even deeper for his idol.

There’s moments where he’s sure Harry feels the same. Like now, when he’s gazing down at Louis with so much adoration and tenderness. It’s like they’re both on the cusp of something more, but neither of them ever say a word.
His confession is on the tip of his tongue ready to slide out like honey, and yet he remains silent. They both do, looking at each other and recognizing the reluctance mirrored in each other’s eyes. It’s then that Louis realizes they’re both scared.

Harry gives him a gentle smile. “Feeling a little bit better?”
Louis nods tentatively. “I think so yeah. Thank you so much for being so kind, but you really didn’t need to do this.” He lifts his unfortunately still shaky hand and runs it haphazardly through his hair. “It was just a spilled tea, I totally overreacted. I’m a bit embarrassed to be honest.”
Harry scoffs. “Are you kidding me? Don’t be. I saw the whole thing, that guy was way out of line. You didn’t do anything wrong.”
Louis gives him what he’s sure is a watery smile. “Erm thank you. I wouldn’t normally admit this to a stranger, but you’ve already seen me cry today so what the hell?” He forces himself to let out a weak laugh. “The thing is, my period is due any day now and sometimes the birth control pills make my emotions go a little haywire. I think that’s what happened.”
