Summary
For a hundred years, the Liar King sat in his castle bound by a curse. His body twisted to reflect his heart and tongue bound to truth's as punishment for his misdeeds. Oh, how he wallows and despairs with no end in sight. For who could love a beast as twisted as he? But across the forest, in the vast planes and Alps, a Truthful Shepherd lives, spreading tales and love to the town that he adores. But is he as truthful as he seems? For desires lurk in his heart, under lock and key. Both fools are soon trapped in that same castle together. While the king's servants cheer for a future their curse may be lifted, things are never as clear and cut as they might seem.

Summary
METSON-013 is the 14th iteration of the Metal Sonic line, and he's determined to also be the last.
His core objective is to surpass Sonic the Hedgehog. Years of failure, doubt, and uncertainty have led him to draw one conclusion on the subject: if he ever wants to fulfill his objective, he needs to get away from the Doctor.
That conclusion leads him to a second conclusion: his best chance of remaining out of the Doctor's clutches is to disguise himself and live amongst organics until he gets the resources for a better plan than that.
Living a quiet, anonymous life shouldn't be difficult.
(He'll soon find out that it's the hardest thing he's ever done.)
