Summary
Terezi was everything to you. You had a whole life with her planned out, down to the paint job on your awful future suburban home, only to let it all slip through your fingers. And it wasn't even his fault in the end.
Now all you have to show for it is a drastically different kind of life on some smelly goddamn couch. Cue the laugh track.

Summary
Dave Strider is known across the world as the youngest assassin. He rose to prominence at the age of seven, having (allegedly) killed his father. Now, as a new recruit for the International Contract Agency’s Federal Convict Exchange Program, he’s trading freedom for a badge he never wanted to earn.
Meanwhile, Karkat Vantas is one of the ICA’s most prolific handlers. His decade-long career spans multiple agents, but that doesn’t exempt him from bad assignments. Despite his protests, he’s been enlisted as the handler for the ICA’s newest and most infamous hitman.

Summary
Dave and Karkat have been together for a few months and all is going well except for the fact that Dave has yet to come out to anyone else. He figured it was problem for later, just as bottoming was. He wasn't quite ready to pass the baton yet, and Karkat didn't seem to mind. Dave is prepared to navigate life sneaking around with Karkat and prolonging his inevitable addiction to taking it up the butt when he is suddenly hit by a series of unfortunate events that act as a catalyst for the changes he soon faces.

Summary
Dave Strider is sick of being the loneliest in his friend group, being desperate enough to try getting acquainted with a boy who seems to loathe him.
Karkat Vantas is unlovable; romantically, platonically, even hatefully-- with the exception of one human boy.
