Louis sits beside Harry on the bench and puts his leg on top of Harry’s, “Didn’t sleep too well last night.” Louis admits, wearing Harry’s hoodie which he demanded first thing in the morning. Harry wraps his arms around him and presses kisses unto his hair. “I wrote you these,” Louis grabs the letters he wrote and presses it unto Harry’s palm, folded lazily. “Read it? M’kay?”

Louis and Harry are uni students, Harry signs them up for a 3-day retreat, they struggle to sleep alone. Louis has been hiding a ring.

Louis’ chair screeched along the kitchen floor as he flew up out of his seat, quickly grabbing the paper from Niall’s grasp. As he scanned the page he found it amounted to lines of nothing.
“What is this?” Louis asked again. “We’ve discussed how Harry Styles will never be spoken of in this flat. I don’t care how long it’s been.”
Niall snatched the paper from Louis and proceeded to draw a line across the page before writing.
“Today is the day that he-who-shall-not-be-named is coming to dinner.”

Harry’s hand sweeps calming strokes up and down his side, wide and warm. His thumb bumped over the ridges of his ribs.
“Whatever you need, Louis.” Harry assured. Louis knows with morbid certainty that he’d wanted to say Omega, and it sends shivers sparking down his spine.
