Summary
Obito escapes from Madara's lair, and together with Kakashi succeeds in saving Rin, changing all of their fates. The three return to the Leaf, and all seems well- Until the unsealing of the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox. Feeling responsible for the death of his Sensei and the massacre of his clan, Obito has given up on his ambition to become Hokage. He instead sets out on an espionage mission together with Jiraiya, leaving the village and everyone behind. Now years later, Kakashi asks him to return and help train Naruto for his upcoming fight in the Chunin Exams. Finally forced to face the son of his Sensei, Obito once again finds himself drawn towards that thrown away dream.
