Some days, though, watching Bruce work the rounds, Clark wasn’t entirely sure if Bruce himself remembered where the mask stopped and where the real Bruce bled in. The ballerina’s lipstick left a red smear on Bruce’s pristine white collar, and Bruce looked at it and laughed, delighted, drunken. Clark looked away, a sour clench in his gut. He was going to have to leave or something was going to break.

Three missed calls- and one voicemail, to Mark. Though they’re never heard until it was too late.
Now Rex is injured but alive, with a guilt-ridden Mark, by his bedside. As Mark sits with him, Rex is finally able to say what he couldn't before.

All things considered, Eve has no clue what precisely about the red-haired bastard drew Mark in. She broke up with that douche for a reason, and while Rex has definitely grown up over the past year or so: she doesn’t like him. That much. Probably.
The longer she spends watching over the Guardians with Mark, the more she’s forced to see the idiot. And with the ferocity in which Rex is trying to befriend her boyfriend, her time at the GDA is quickly becoming near unbearable.
Vaguely set between Invincible seasons 1&2 but nothing bad ever happens. Regardless, Eve still needs to knock herself out with one of her own constructs.

Basically a thing about Vegeta I’ve been entertaining in the back of my mind for several months. It’s a lot of things and very centralized in Vegeta’s head and feelings as I perceive them. It focuses on canon and non-canon moments and explores themes with Vegeta’s character I feel get overlooked inside and outside of canon material. It is also based on a mix royallunatiic's (Tumblr) hcs and my own. I wouldn’t call it a retelling but more of a change in perspective that delves into darker themes surrounding Vegeta.
Warning: This fic includes violence, gore, abuse, harsh language, some sexual content, mentions of depression, and probably things that people who hold canon as the Holy Grail will not like. It is a very rose colored glasses off kind of read.
