“This is so weird, even for me and I know Wade” Peter mumbles, hardly keeping himself from being forced by gravity, back down on his back. Peter’s body feels heavy, like he had been drugged or knocked out for hours.

No, this felt too real.
"Okay... this is not a dream… Did Wade drug me again? I swear-" Peter muttered under his breath, trying to push himself upright. His fingers scraped against the ground, trying to find purchase, and as his vision cleared, panic surged in his chest. This wasn’t his neighborhood, or even his city. This was... unfamiliar, dark, and wrong.
Waking up in the middle of God knows where was not in Peter’s bingo card, but knowing his luck, it should have been.
