Being immortal was sometime Percy never really wanted. If he was immortal he would lose everyone he cared about. His mom, Paul, Estelle, Annabeth, and all his friends. But when the gods came to him with the offer to become camp half-bloods and camp Jupiter's’ new protectors with Annabeth and his friends and be able to see Sally, Paul and Estelle even when they died he knew if he took it Camp half-blood wouldn’t be in danger. The kids wouldn’t have to grow up in constant fear. Did he really want to do that?
