Summary
The young women of Methodist Girls’ High were constantly reminded of the school’s proud virtues—integrity, respect, and excellence—which they were expected to embody in the classroom, on the playing field, and in every aspect of their personal conduct. By day, they carried that image well, their uniforms crisp, their manners polished. But once the sun dipped and the dormitories settled into night, those polished ideals loosened their grip, giving way to a different rhythm of laughter, secrets, and mischief.
Tonight, behind the closed door of one of the multi-purpose rooms, five schoolgirls huddled together, voices hushed but tinged with giddy excitement as Catherine introduced a new curious game: Bursting Balloons.

Summary
Cowgirls. One of my favorite concepts for stories. Taking place in Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, a delightful anime from 2017 that I really should have written about earlier! But hey, better late than never I suppose. This story was inspired just by a simple picture by the artist on twitter, not even related to cows, just Elma with big boobs: https://twitter.com/coolkyou2/status/1030351027571109888 That's all it took to inspire me.
All told this story came out to 14,780 words. Written over the course of four days. Shows what inspiration really can do. Features a lot of breast expansion, multiple characters becoming cowgirls (complete with udders), and lots of milk-drinking.

Summary
She is standing in the doorway to her childhood bedroom, her parents pretending not to linger on the landing behind her, wringing their hands. Funny how time works—before, it was just her bedroom, because before she was still a child. Not so any longer.
“We kept everything ready for you,” her mom says from somewhere behind her. Rachel can’t bear to look at her, suddenly. Can’t stand that she’s here, a new-minted woman in an old, old room. She was ripped unceremoniously out of her place in this house and this world and this bedroom, and now her ragged edges have frayed down to nothing, and she won’t fit back in the hole left behind anymore. Not really. Not truly.
(or, rachel is home now, except home, she's learning, is a much more difficult concept than she ever dreamed.)

The truth of the matter, as it is wont to do, reveals itself to be much more complicated than first thought. Martyn tries his best to follow the unravelling thread.
