Summary
A long long time ago, in an SMP far, far, away, there lived an average man named James Marriott.
He didn't have many friends, those he did have mostly bothered him. Loads of "oh James, I'm gonna walk into your room and say absolutely nothing, ain't that funny" and "you're a strange man, James Marriott".
All this harassment may have been worth it if it made him relevant or famous, but his 'friends' instead cut him out of their little fame circle, erasing his existence from their histories.
You might think he was a rumor, an urban legend of sorts, but he was real. A real person, a real figure. He was always there, you just never noticed. Prove it? Of course. I thought you'd never ask.

this is the best thing ever actually and I say that as someone who finds it almost impossible to endure 1st person narration but by god this wonderful oc hits me around the head with how clearly ignorant I was because how can first person be bad when she is here?
Absolutely adore the historical details, authors note rabbit holes and just. Actually. Just everything. There isn’t anything I don’t like. I think it’s actively impossible to dislike this.
