Summary
He followed the butterflies across time and space, finding a safe Krat at the end of his journey. Yet the Clever One is unable to look beyond the trail of bodies behind him.
Lea and Romeo's demise weighing heavily on his mind, his hard-earned humanity screams at him to take action; and unable to refuse, he solicits the aid of Sophia to indulge in the most foolish (human) of desires: to forge an impossible path.
Returning once more to the past, the Clever One fights to right the wrongs of the god that visited such suffering upon them, and, hopefully, be able to watch the sun rise once more.

Romeo and Carlo are taken on a field trip, courtesy of the Charity House, to one of the workshops in Krat, but neither of them are the slightest bit interested. At Carlo's behest, the two sneak away from their classmates to do something more fun, like thievery.

Summary
A figure stands before him.
Carlo flinches, startling at the sight. He instinctively takes a step back, feet slipping over scattered cards. He fumbles on the floor for only a moment before scrambling to his feet, upright once more, eyes racing to find whatever lay in the darkened corner.
Before him a figure dark and looming stands, its eyes a piercing lance, its face a mirrored reflection of Carlo’s own.
Carlo stares up at the figure. The puppet called P stares back.

Carlo is enjoying his new life, free from the past. But when P returns, Carlo begins to question what's truly real. How can the broken puppet be here now? And what revelations will his appearance bring?

Summary
Visiting the Rose Estate wasn't what P had planned, nor was it what his father would have wanted him to do. But after receiving that clue in the bookstore, the puppet couldn't help himself. He wanted to know, wanted to follow the pull that strung him along and in front of the gates of the former school.
He wouldn't ever have guessed the effects the place would have on him - or the memories buried deep within the Ergo driving his heart, pushing him to look deeper into the mystery clouding the strange portrait in his father's office.

Summary
There is no going back, there is only forward. And despite this, P finds himself waking up once again to his regular repairs. Except instead of Father, it is the brother, who was given the heart, that is fixing him. And this new brother may not have his best interests at that heart. Having his own brilliant plans in mind, P is left with a freedom he never asked for. While Carlo defies the wishes of their father to bring a new tomorrow to Krat. Both of them reached for the ‘Happily Ever After’ they could never be promised.
What follows when the masterminds are dead? When the children are left with the aftermath of a destroyed home, how do they pick up the pieces again? How do they move forward? P wishes he held the answers, and Carlo pretends to know everything.
