Summary
Late one night, Peter Parker receives a seemingly routine intel file flagged by S.H.I.E.L.D. algorithms — low priority, possibly nothing. But when he opens it, he’s shocked to recognize Lin Lie, a quiet presence from his life, appearing under the alias “Ash” in a collection of obscure, low-light photos. Ash is an online persona known in discreet, adult-oriented circles — careful, private, never meeting in person. But recently, that pattern changed. Ash has gone quiet. A few concerning posts hint at exhaustion and injury. One photo shows Lin with a swollen cheekbone, contradicting the controlled image he’s built.
Peter, disturbed, digs deeper using his skills and access as Spider-Man, justifying it as helping someone in trouble — though deep down, it’s personal. He eventually finds Lin at a café, looking tired and withdrawn, bruises visible beneath his hoodie. Peter doesn’t approach, fearing he’d scare him off, but he can’t let it go. When Lin posts a new video the next night, his eyes carry a warning — or a plea — and Peter begins compiling a case file, determined to help.
Two weeks later, fate brings them together again. Lin is found in an alley after fighting off attackers, bloodied and raw.

Summary
Bucky Barnes has spent his whole life trying to outrun the parts of himself he doesn’t want to face—his anger, his fears, and most of all, the complicated feelings he has for Steve Rogers. Steve, the quiet, persistent artist who somehow always sees the best in him. Steve, the one person who refuses to let Bucky push him away, no matter how much he tries.
What starts as resentment—sharp and bitter—slowly turns into something Bucky isn’t ready for. He fights it. He fights him. But Steve doesn’t back down, even when Bucky lashes out, even when he tries to disappear.
As time passes, their connection deepens, shifting from hostility to something warmer, something real. Bucky finds himself standing beside Steve when he swears he wouldn’t, holding his hand when he promises he won’t, kissing him when he knows he shouldn’t. But the world is watching, and Bucky still cares too much about what people think—until the moment he realizes the only opinion that matters is Steve’s.
This is a story of love born from hate, of two boys navigating the weight of their feelings, and of Bucky learning—slowly, painfully—that Steve was always his to begin with.

Summary
“Then tell me,” Steve interrupted, his voice rising just enough to make Bucky’s heart race. “Tell me, so I can prove you wrong.”
The words were on the tip of Bucky’s tongue, his heart pounding so hard it felt like it might break free from his chest. He wanted to say it, wanted to lay it all out in the open, but the fear was paralyzing.
And then Steve said, softly, “Please, Buck.”
Bucky’s resolve crumbled.
“I’m in love with you.”
The words hung in the air, heavy and raw and impossible to take back. Bucky’s chest heaved as he forced himself to meet Steve’s gaze, bracing for rejection, for disgust, for anything that would confirm his worst fears.
