    The story follows after Nexus just kidnapped Moon (following the canon storyline until now). The growing tension between Solar and Nexus led to him taking a drastic measure to stop Nexus, eventually leading to Nexus having amnesia. Nexus struggles with their new sense of self and the lack of identity they suddenly have.

    Monty and Moon don't help in this. Solar and Nexus grow a close, romantic bond, solar vowing to help Nexus. They're much more like their New Moon personality.

    This is my first every fic on AO3 so, I would like to remind everyone about some stuff.

    First of all, keep in mind that I'm still a minor! There won't be any smut/sex related stuff in this fic. Suggestive? Yes, but no sex.

    What if there was a universe where Nexus did embark upon a villain arc in the Sun and Moon Show, but even as he progressed he didn't totally lose himself in his selfishness, ego and cruelty? Well, that's what this fic right here aims to showcase: a redemption arc for Nexus where when it matters most, he stayed his hand and stayed his cruelty, and actually had real love for his family left in his heart, unlike in canon.

    This is not written to play him as the victim or make him sympathetic and innocent, because he's not. This is written as a simple what-if and then to hold him accountable for his wrongdoing in the eventual end.
