Summary
Cloud Strife has been through a lot. Monsters, madmen, time travel (probably). But getting yeeted into a world where soulmates are real and colors only exist once you meet them? That’s new.
Now, he’s stuck with a dramatic red-coated SOLDIER who won’t stop quoting loveless and insists they’re bound by fate. Worse, the world is too bright, and the smug bastard has the audacity to look at him like he hung the stars. Cloud just wants to find Aerith, get answers, and maybe not deal with this soulmate nonsense
Genesis Rhapsodos, meanwhile, has waited years for their final soulmate to appear. only for him to be a battle-worn blond who doesn’t even believe in soulmates
Unacceptable. But Genesis is nothing if not determined. If Cloud thinks he can outrun fate, he’s got another thing coming
(And really, how long can he stay in denial when he hasn’t even met the rest of their bond yet?)

Summary
Cloud Strife wakes up in his fifteen-year-old body. His mind? Still twenty-nine. Tifa prayed for him, and Gaia thought it’d be hilarious to send him back in time with zero explanation. Cool.
He’s supposed to kill Sephiroth. That’s the plan. But nothing’s going right. Sephiroth is looking at him like he's a delicacy, people are acting weird, and Cloud can’t even figure out why he’s the only one who didn’t get the memo.
And then there’s Genesis. Isn’t he supposed to be dead? Why is he here? And why is Angeal acting like Cloud’s personal, emotionally exhausted dad? He’s got that perpetual dad face on like he’s about to give Cloud another “life choices” lecture.
Cloud’s coping strategy? Hiding in closets. It’s quiet, it’s safe, and at least no one’s staring at him like he’s the next sacrificial lamb.
Oh, and now the big one: What the hell is a throuple? Because apparently that’s the new normal in this timeline.
Cloud’s starting to notice a pattern, though—he really has a kink for emotionally repressed men. Not sure how that happened, but here he is.
Mission to save the world again? Yeah, that’s still happening. No pressure.

Summary
It is the natural law of the world that each person has at least one soulmate. The amount of bonds tied to the soul can be easily determined with how many unique symbols there are in the soulmark everyone was born with.
Just as the sun always rises every morning and the stars twinkle every night, every pair—or group—of soulmates would always have a Dreamer. For even with the unique soulmarks that would hopefully allow soulmates to recognize each other, the vastness of the planet still makes it difficult for them to find one another.
Legends say that it was Gaia’s pity, for she could not bear the thought of soulmates never finding each other. Hence, blessing each bond with a Dreamer who would be able to unite their fated souls together. After awakening in their coming of age, a Dreamer would be able to connect everyone who shares their soul bond through a shared dreamscape. It was because of this blessing, many were able to find their fated ones during their lifetime.
-
Genesis, Angeal, Sephiroth, and Zack are considered lucky soulmates who have found each other way before shared dreams. But that luck backfires when they could only meet their last soulmates in a space beyond sleep and reality.

Only the last person you'd expect, Rufus Shinra, could drag Cloud back to Shinra with minimal kicking and screaming to begrudgingly save the world before shit hits the fan.
Again.
