Summary
Soundwave, after the war has ended, is elected as part of the Senate. One thing leads to another, and a bodyguard would be very useful. Cue Mirage, who still somehow retains all of his expertise from the war, and Soundwave chooses him.
But then Mirage comes back more injured than Soundwave expected, after rescuing him and his minicons no less. Just what does he do when he's not by Soundwave's side? And what hides under Iacon?

Now that he was sure this was reality, a myriad of questions bubbled up in his mind. Why was it there? Was it always there, or had it just bloomed now that there was only him around to witness it? What could it hold? And, perhaps most importantly, why did it feel like there was an invisible force drawing him to it like a moth to an open flame?

Any self-respecting Towers mech should know how to court properly, and Mirage is nothing if not a proper Towers mech. Of course, the whole affair would probably have gone a lot easier if anyone had thought to inform Hound that he was being courted in the first place.
