“Thank you,” Fizz looks back at the lizard, offering his best people-pleaser smile. The sinner is practically on top of him, that hand that had settled behind Fizz slipping closer. He freezes as a scaly palm presses to the back of his neck, claws ever so gently curling around his thin throat. “Uh,” he stammers, trying to think of a way to excuse himself, eyes flicking to the rest of the bus.
It’s packed again, he hadn’t even realized until now, a wall of people boxing him in completely. The lizard chuckles, patting Fizz’s thigh like they’re friends.
