His body showed few signs …hence why he hadn’t cottoned on what was going on until it was much too late to do anything about it. He wished he had a supply of water where he could reach it, but he was in too much pain to retrieve it now.
He’d been able to convince himself earlier that he didn’t need his help…or anyone’s help for that matter…but the more the urge consumed him, the closer he got to reaching for that phone to call for help.

It also takes place before the events of Hazbin Hotel (including its pilot episode).Flashbacks are written in Italics and have separate chapters most of the time.
