Summary
I was just your average, over-caffeinated nobody scraping through life one espresso shot at a time. My biggest thrill was guessing which customer would forget their wallet next. Exciting stuff, right?
Then they walked in—two skeletons. Yep. Real ones. One was seven feet tall, spoke in ALL CAPS, and ordered spaghetti at a Café that was mostly known for its cakes and coffee. The other? Shorter, hoodie-wearing, smug little smirk like he knew all my secrets. Spoiler: he kind of did.
I thought it was a joke. A cosplay. A weird dream brought on by bad milk. But no. That was the day my normal, boring life got hit by a flaming, bone-shaped meteor.
And I fell. Fast. For him. The short one with the terrible puns and the eyes that glowed just a little too long. He was charming, sarcastic, a little lazy... and maybe—just maybe—a walking red flag wrapped in a skeleton hoodie.
Now the coffee shop’s weird, my apartment’s weirder, and I’m 97% sure I’m being watched. But hey—at least I’m not bored anymore.
