Oh, it is harmful, Lan Wangji thinks through a spinning head as he feels Wei Wuxian twist their hands this way and that, testing the limits of the curse. It is most certainly harmful.

(tl;dr a curse makes teen!wwx and teen!lwj hold hands. lwj, who is very much in denial about his feelings, tries his best not to panic and wwx decides that Operation: Make Lan Zhan My Best Friend is a GO. hilarity ensues)

“How do I do that?” He would do almost anything to get back to normal. The yaksha was proving to be far more knowledgeable than he’d expected; hope filled Nezha in an almost painful squeeze.
The yaksha spread its thick, fleshy lips in a leer. “You have to mate with the little dragon beauty."
Nezha deals with his changing body. Things are... complicated.

Ribbit!
The cat raises its head. Large grey eyes blink up at Lan Wangji. It drops the frog.
Quickly, the frog hops away, faster as Lan Wangji watches it go with incredulous eyes.
He turns back to the cat.
Then, “…Wei Ying?”or: During another day of rule-breaking and rule-copying, Wei Wuxian turns into a cat and Lan Wangji decides he’s a certified pet lover then and there.

This was absolutely precious. And so beautifully written, I love Author's style.

Lan Wangji closes his eyes.
“Why,” he says to no one, “are you like this.”
But he makes his way down the footbridge, careful not to slip into the pond as well. It is very muddy, with a lot of mosquitoes and a patch of purple flowers the cat’s tiny paws are desperately trying to reach.
Wei Ying wails dramatically and starts paddling in slow circles. Like a drunk water beetle, a little watermelon seed floating amidst a whirlpool. A dragonfly buzzes by. Weakly, Wei Ying tries to attack it, fails, swallows water.
Sighing, Lan Wangji kneels at the edge of the pond and very gently, very silently, (mournfully), dunks both sleeves into the water. He reaches for the yowling Wei Ying and lifts him out.
Wei Ying is freezing, shuddering, and looks so, so proud of himself.
Lan Wangji stares at him, dripping and purring and blinking sweetly.
“You will die before you reach adulthood,” he says.
Wei Ying wriggles and splashes water directly into his face.

Very good story. Written in first person, about a young girl (like all the books flooding the market, lol), so I thought I'd hate it, but damn... it's well-written and the story itself is incredibly gripping. I've just blown through half a million words in 3 days, which outta tell you something. Hoki Rin (the girl) is so hilariously TEENAGER. (Author is a teacher, and I assume she works with this age group, because boy does she seem to comprehend the teenage animal). Her quirk is linked to her emotions, and her emotions are WILD, just up and down and sideways, and every single one is set to 11, just, blast out the windows, girl. smh.
Part 2 is only 51/62, but I thoroughly enjoyed what there was. (It hasn't been that long. Author will probably update.)

Excellent: I loved it. Prejudice is a strong theme: against the quirkless, against those with mutation quirks, etc. Izuku's life is not easy, but he has some very smart, very thoughtful people at his side as he makes a place for himself. (Also, Bakougo gets SCHOOLED, and learns a hard lesson.)
