Summary
At her age Penelope had had little concern for the implications of sharing a heat with her husband. It had taken so much for the conception of Telemachus all those years ago, that time was surely working against them by the time he stepped foot on Ithaca once more. If it hadn’t happened in the months after his return home, the fates clearly saw no need for another child to grace the halls of their palace. For while female alphas were able to carry children to term, it was such a rarity that they never even considered the risk. Alphas rarely bedded other alphas, and Penelope had no interest in finding a beta.
They were foolish to forget they were sharing a bed with a god.
