Summary
Teenagering is hard, especially after nearly two years of fighting interdimensional monsters and having their lives turned upside down by the Upside Down. Now Will and El face their most daunting adventure yet -- the ups and downs of puberty, navigating high school and making friends in a new town, and a journey of self discovery that leads them to a place neither of them ever imagined. And they might even stumble across Hop along the way.

I was really hoping to finish this story before S4 dropped, but I just couldn't make it happen. But I have been writing every day for weeks now trying to get this thing complete. I'm not quite done, but close enough to start dropping chapters with reasonable frequency. So looking forward to bringing this AU tale to its conclusion soon!

"You're turning thirty, Donna," he says with an awkward chuckle, not quite looking at her. "You're turning thirty, not dying."
And she knows then that he doesn't get it - he doesn't get it at all. Because he thinks this is just Donna being Donna - that this is like her tearing up during one of the President's speeches, or during a Meg Ryan movie, or hell, during a dog food commercial if the mood strikes her. He doesn't get it, she realizes, and maybe he'll never get her again. Maybe they're two people who used to understand each other wholly, completely, and are now worlds apart - two people who could once communicate in glances, and now can't even manage to find their way with words.

Summary
