Cale Henituse was similar to himself-Kim Rok Soo-in an assortment of things, but his reactions were not of someone who had given in. No, they were of someone clinging to a ledge between giving in and fighting back. The ledge was more dangerous than the ground that built it.
Rok Soo could not let this punk who reminded him of himself self-destruct and become trash.
He also couldn’t just ignore the punk who has dreams of the future.
Rok Soo smiles slightly, but Cale thinks it looked quite sad. The older boy removes his hand and extends it, “Punk, you and I seem to be oddities in this world. Let’s ensure ourselves peaceful lives,”

Amazing fic! Love Roksu's characterization as well as all the worldbuilding! Also KRS!Wing-fic agenda, who doesn't love that lmao. A lot of angst moments but also also of cute and fluffy moments! Cute KRS and child og!Cale moments, JOUR THAMES, Ron being vicious but the supporting vicious, funny Rasheel moments, DID I MENTION JOUR THAMES?!?!, yeah a lot of hurt/comfort/fluff/angst rolled into a burrito (or sushi) to bite into- its delicious!!!

The gods went ahead and caused Cale more chaos. He could practically see his slacker life waving as it ran away from him, the glares and distrustful looks of the Birth of a Hero World definitely didn't help his blood pressure.
At least, Kim Rok Soo also had to suffer, a small mercy that Cale gleefully accepted.
To save the world of the original book, the Birth of a Hero, Cale's heroic past will be randomly shown on the big screen, while the gods started a side quest of matchmaking with expected results.

TOP-TIER fic!!! It may be a react fic but it has so much plot and character development its so delicious and good. So many bonding moments between so many people, TBOAH world is going through it while the TCF world is enjoying the show while causing chaos. The gods are chaotic and can't stick to the script and it gets better and better.
