    Many took the hatching of Vaelyx Velaryon's dragon to be an omen from the old gods of Valyria. A dragon black and purple as the eyes of his rider, growing to the size of a horse within a matter of weeks, and only exceeding in size from then. Called the Witch Princess in her youth, she was doted upon by her mother and the King, and feared by the realm from the time she was a babe.
    Vaelyx is many things; princess, heir, daughter, sister, wife, but above all else, she is the rider of poison.
